Boulder, CO – Tobi Hunt Events at Nissi’s – 2674 North Park Drive, Lafayette, CO – Thursday Dec 11, 2014 from 11 am to 1:30 pm – Wearing Your Divine Lens: The Secret to healing grief, finding purpose, and living intuitively with Sue Frederick. When things aren’t going so well; when you lose that great job, when you’re facing bankruptcy, your spouse divorces you, or your child dies in a tragic accident, you may feel angry at a God who could cause such cruel suffering. Or rage at an unjust universe where tragic events unfold for no apparent reason. Yet each crisis is your awakening; a fresh opportunity to discover if you’re living from your soul’s perspective, your divine view, or from your ego self. Once you’re aware of these warring perspectives within and their consequences, you can choose to view life through your divine lens. Your divine lens (a spiritual but not religious view) reveals that YOU are a highly evolved soul who intended to shine your wisdom on the painful dark moments of your life and to help others do the same. YOU came here to shine love on your fear; to pour light on your greatest pain. Several attendees will receive brief intuitive readings during the event.
Dearest Sue,
It was on this day- 23rd dec, 2 years ago that we were given the devastating news that our son, R… heartbeat had stopped. and whilst the pain of losing him will never totally go away, it is so much lighter & different this year than it was last year. And one of the big reasons for that was the Grief healing workshop I attended with you. You do such amazing work & the energy I felt from you & all the people at the workshop gave me a deep sense of peace.
And it didn’t just end there, on that day (like it usually does for most one day workshops). Instead- some of the beautiful people I met at the workshop have bloomed into a deep, meaningful, supportive friendship.
One such special angel I must mention is lovely, lovely L…. I was so touched by her story of the bears that I reached out to her saying I want to knit a bear for my son’s anniversary. I have never knit before & L… took time from her super crazy schedule to meet me on 3 evenings & taught me how to knit a bear! (see pic) How awesome is that. it’s the best thing I could do to cherish R…’s memory for this year.
Last year, my family & I had supported a project to build a shelter home for runaway kids in India (see pic) And like that wasn’t enough kindness already- L… went further, when I told her I would be happy to play ambassador & take bears to children in Sri Lanka & India, before I knew it, she had heaps of bears ready for me to pick up! She even personally created a project of 23 bears (to mark today’s date) in R…’s memory. Currently all the bears are spreading their cheer in my home before they spread cheer to the children awaiting them. (see pics).
The lovely group met up at my place recently & have attached those pics too- I am sure you will recognise a few happy faces there- L…, Lu…, D…, Li… & me.. Sadly T… & S… could not make it that day but all of us connect often on mail. We tell each other our stories and how we cope with the memories & the experiences…and no one laughs at the woo-wooness.
As the year comes to an end, am sure we all take stock & count our blessings this year & this special group of friends is definitely one such blessing…but it all started with the lovely healing work you do, Sue – and for that I want to send you a big hug & thank you from all of us.
Merry Christmas & have a great year.
Much love,
R….
ANOTHER EMAIL FROM THE NEW YORK OPEN CENTER GRIEF WORKSHOP:
To everyone in our group,
Like R…, I can’t avoid noticing how Sue’s decision to come to New York and, our decision to attend her seminar, set up a chain of events that will be felt by people in three continents.
R… will touch the hearts of 48 children in New Delhi and Sri Lanka by bringing them a little bear. A friend of Li…, who does medical missions in the Middle East, has agreed to take 50 bears to children in Gaza where there is so much need for love.
We in New York, have spent several precious healing hours together.
I could not have imagined all of this when I was crying for the loss of my husband, trying to decide if I wanted to attend the seminar. Staying in bed doing nothing, felt like the best idea.
Thank you Sue! Thank you all! Without you, this wave of love that is traveling so far away would have never existed.
With gratitude in my heart, I wish you all very happy holidays.
L…. D….
